Yes, the main issue with the subcommander project is, that I didn't saw
any prgress in the development of the upcomimng 2.0 release. I have saw
a beta release for the version over serveral year without any sing to
get a final release.

So from my point of view subcommander is a dead project and i didn't take
any effort to maintain a package of a dead project.
